It's our time to stand up and fight back! YouTube Video withPresident Trumka The election in Massachusetts this week was a sobering reminder to candidates running in 2010. Voters are fed up with the inaction in Washington and are expecting RESULTS. If candidates want the votes of working families come November, they need to pass real working families legislation - a jobs bill, health care reform, financial regulation and the Employee Free Choice Act. Our job could not be clearer. Our time to stand up and fight for the issues that are important to working families is now. More than 1,500 registered nurses from across the U.S. have responded in less than one day to the call by the nation’s largest organization of registered nurses for volunteers to provide assistance to the residents of earthquake devastated Haiti. The efforts are being coordinated by the Registered Nurse Response Network. Donate Now
