The Arizona AFL-CIO and Maricopa Area Labor Federation invite you to join us for a Workers Memorial Day Breakfast on Thursday, April 28th at 9 AM, where we will honor Arizona workers who passed away due to work-related injury or illness in 2021.

Each year, thousands of American workers are killed and millions suffer injury or illness due to dangerous working conditions. Over the last two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the inextricable link between workplace safety and the health of our communities. Among the nearly 30,000 Arizonans who lost their lives after contracting COVID-19 are countless frontline and essential workers.

In order to ensure that we do not omit the names of our fallen union siblings, we ask that you please send us the full name of each member of your local union who passed away last year due to workplace illness or injury.

You can use this form below to submit each name individually, or you can email a list of names to Arizona AFL-CIO communications and operations director Drake Ridge at [email protected].
