Free Food, Fun and Celebration on Labor Day 2018

Come join the Pima Area Labor Federation, Arizona AFL-CIO, as we host our 22nd annual Labor Day Picnic at Reid Park on Monday, September 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is the largest and longest-running Labor Day event in Arizona that celebrates working families and their accomplishments. Unions change lives, as they protect our families and strengthen our communities.

Our #RedForEd pavilion will feature the story of RedForEd and how we are all transforming our Arizona public schools into world class education opportunities for every young person.

Food and cold drinks are free and plentiful, as are music and games. Booths provide information about the labor unions of southern Arizona that give us living wages, paid time off, affordable health care, and retirement pensions.

The picnic has contests for adults, and games, piñatas and activities for children. The event includes a classic car show with Door Slammers Car Club vehicles.

WHAT: 22nd Annual Labor Day Picnic
WHERE: Reid Park Bandshell (DeMeester Outdoor Performance Center)
WHEN: Monday, September 3, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
