Arizona AFL-CIO Constituencies are preparing to launch their first joint meeting. The joint meetings will serve to be a place where all working people, especially those who are traditionally under-represented, to meet other unionists, and to learn about the major issues we all face.

At our first meeting-- which will be conducted via Zoom-- we're going to hear from leaders of the Asarco strike, which began in 2019 and continues, from legislative professionals on why and how we as the labor movement interact with Arizona's legislature, and we're going to have a discussion regarding topics you would like to see at future meetings.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, January 7th, starting at 6pm, Arizona time, and is scheduled to end at 730.

Anyone who is pro-union is welcome to attend, including those who are not yet union members.
